The home of Cafés Oquendo is situated near north-western Spain's Cantabrian coastline in the heart of the Province of Asturias, a region traditionally associated with high coffee consumption. Since our inception in 1986 we have managed to make something of a name for ourselves as one of Spain's leading enterprises in the hotel and catering sector.

Cafés Oquendo's commitment to the pursuit of quality has been accorded the ISO 9002 Certificate and recognized by bodies such as BID (Business Initiative Directions) with the adjudication of the prestigious International Summit Award in New York in 2001. This philosophy is evidenced in all aspects of the production process, from the original selection of the raw material (green coffee), to roasting and packaging, as well as to the monitoring of practices employed in those establishments where our coffees are ultimately served to the customer.
