Roasting. The process
during which coffee beans are roasted.
Robusta. This species
typically grows at lower elevations in countries like Africa, Indochina
and Brazil. Robusta is normally dry-processed and has a small, round,
yellowish bean which is more disease resistant than its arabica
relative. Robusta beans originate from Zaire and are noted for their
harsh, dirty flavour and abundant caffeine - twice as much caffeine,
in fact, as is found in arabica beans.
